What information/other requirements do you need to get my warranty data from the manufacturer?
Make, BIOS date, Models and Serial Numbers are collected. No identifying information such as IP addresses, usernames, or computer names are sent to the Recast API.
What happens if the manufacturer isn’t on the list?
As long as the devices are within Configuration Manager, Endpoint Insights will collect the warranty details for them. If devices come through our API with vendors that aren't already on the list, we reach out to the vendors directly to get the required information to update our code.
What if my warranty data is unavailable from the manufacturer?
The warranty information will fall back to the BIOS date if we are unable to get details for a device.
