Not sure which browser extension version you're running?
You can check the browser extension version by clicking the Recast icon in your toolbar. Alternatively, click the Extensions icon (the puzzle piece) located in your toolbar and select Recast Right Click Tools for Intune to see details.
Many classic Right Click Tools are proven to run actions on Entra-Joined, Intune-only managed devices connected to a Recast Management Server only via Recast Agents.
Our testing was done with the following requirements in place:
- Right Click Tools installed on a computer running the Intune Admin Center
- Recast Management Server installed in the environment
- Right Click Tools for Intune browser extension installed on the device running the Intune Admin Center
- Recast Agents installed on devices where you want to run actions, and those devices are connected to the Recast Management Server
Having problems running some Console Tools on Entra-joined devices?
Some Console Tools, like Connect to C$, Manage Computer, Interactive Command Prompt, and Interactive PowerShell Prompt, will only work correctly once you configure native Windows tools like File Explorer, Registry Editor, Remote Desktop, and Remote WMI to connect remotely between Entra-only devices.
