Recast Software Version 5.8.2501 introduces Right Click Tools for Intune, which can be accessed using the Right Click Tools browser extension. This add-on, which is currently available for Microsoft Edge, enables you to run familiar Right Click Tools from within the Microsoft Intune Admin Center and other interfaces. You can expect that each action will function from within Intune as it does when running it within the Configuration Manager console.
The browser extension currently supports a limited set of tools for Microsoft Entra hybrid joined devices and Entra joined devices. Future releases will add to the number of actions that can be run on those devices. We welcome your input and feature requests in the Recast Software Ideas Portal.

Requirements and recommendations for installing and running the Enterprise Edition of Right Click Tools using the Right Click Tools Browser Extension:
- Version 5.8.2501 or later of the Right Click Tools Enterprise Edition installed on the device from which you will run Right Click Tools actions (required)
NOTE: Right Click Tools requires the installation of Microsoft Configuration Manager on the device from which you intend to run Right Click Tools actions.
- Version 5.8.2501 or later of Recast Management Server installed (recommended)
- Right Click Tools connected to Recast Management Server (recommended)
- Recast Agent installed on the device where you want to run actions, with that device connected to the Recast Management Server (recommended)
- Right Click Tools browser extension added from the Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store
The Right Click Tools browser extension works with both the Enterprise and Community Editions of Right Click Tools. This installation workflow is intended to guide Enterprise customers adding browser extension functionality to an existing implementation of Right Click Tools with Recast Management Server or Right Click Tools Standalone.
Recommended workflow for installing the browser extension with Right Click Tools Enterprise:
1. Make sure that the browser extension requirements/recommendations are in place.
2. Download v5.8.2501 or later of the Right Click Tools Enterprise Edition from the Recast Portal.
3. Update Right Click Tools and your Recast components to v5.8.2501 or later.
5. Add the Right Click Tools browser extension.
Once you've completed the installation steps, you'll be able to find your familiar Right Click Tools within Intune.

A Right Click Tools browser extension license is included in v5.8.2501 and later of the Right Click Tools Enterprise Edition. Right Click Tools Enterprise Legacy licenses include the browser extension functionality in the Right Click Tools Community Edition.
Enterprise Customers Running Right Click Tools with Recast Management Server
To update your current Recast licensing with a Right Click Tools browser extension license:
1. Log into the Recast Portal with your Recast Software credentials.
2. Download the Right Click Tools Enterprise Edition and the .zip file containing your Recast licenses.
3. After upgrading Right Click Tools and your Recast components to v5.8.2501 or later, navigate to your Recast Management Server Licenses page and click Upload to select the licenses you downloaded previously from the portal.
4. Manually add the browser extension license file to the RMS license folder located at C:\ProgramData\Recast Software\Licenses.
Enterprise Customers Running Right Click Tools Standalone
To update your current Recast licensing with a Right Click Tools browser extension license:
1. Log into the Recast Portal with your Recast Software credentials.
2. Download the Right Click Tools Enterprise Edition. At the same time, you can also download the .zip file containing your Recast licenses.
3. After running the Right Click Tools installer, navigate to the Recast Software node in your Configuration Manager console.
4. Click Configure Recast in the 'How Can We Help?' section.
5. On the Licensing tab, in the Download License section, enter your Recast Software Portal credentials and click Retrieve License.
TIP: If you previously downloaded your license from the Recast Portal, you can alternatively locate it using the Browse function.
6. If the Configuration Manager console is open during license retrieval, restart the console.
You can find the Recast Right Click Tools browser extension in the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store.
NOTE: In organizations that restrict browser extension access, add Recast Right Click Tools to the list of allowed browser extensions.
To add the browser extension:
1. In the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store, navigate to Recast Right Click Tools.
2. Click the Get button.
3. Confirm that you want to add Recast Right Click Tools to Microsoft Edge by clicking Add extension.
To make the extension visible in your browser toolbar:
1. Click the Extensions icon (the puzzle piece), located in your browser toolbar. 
2. In the drop-down menu that opens, click the Show in toolbar icon to the right of Recast Right Click Tools.
With the browser extension added, you can then find Right Click Tools within Intune.
