Components
The Release and Patch Management has three components:
Application Workspace Setup Store
The Application Workspace Setup Store is a proprietary curated app store containing thousands of app setups and patches available for Windows and MacOS.
The Application Workspace Setup Store is available as a connector and requires the Release and Patch Management license. But is also available in Setup Commander when using the MDT, ConfigMgr, Ivanti EPM or ZENworks connector.
Using the Application Workspace Setup Store simplifies package and patch deployment and ensures security, while the automated delivery and updates are handled for you by our team. Apps are updated in the store soon after OEM releases, and after they are rigorously tested and malware screened. This curated app store also guarantees verified sources, comprehensive vulnerability data and virus scan scores.
Application Workspace Setup Store Notification System
Through the Application Workspace Setup Store Notification System we send E-mails with information like release notes, patches, CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) or VirusTotal score for the applications which you imported from the Application Workspace Setup Store into your Application Workspace System.
Setup Commander
Setup Commander enables you to prepare your own in-house applications, applications which need to be purchased or any application which can’t be provided through the Application Workspace Setup Store for deployment.
