View Source Platform Data

Load Source Platform Data

After configuring all data sources, click Get Data From All Enabled Sources. The tool connects to each platform, retrieves inventory, loads Zone resources, and populates the relevant tabs in Application Workspace.

The Matching Process

When the tool loads data, it runs a fuzzy-matching algorithm comparing each inventory item against all Zone resources. For each inventory item, the best-matching Zone resource is identified based on:

  • Name similarity - normalized names are compared, stripping publisher prefixes, version numbers, edition suffixes, and common noise words

  • Version similarity - version strings are parsed and compared with tolerance for minor differences

  • Match score - a composite score from 0-100 is assigned, a Reason column explains the scoring

Avoiding Duplicates

On all Matches tabs, you can Merge Duplicates to consolidate multiple rows for the same application, keeping only the highest-scoring match.

The Exists column indicates whether the matched Zone resource already exists in the Zone, helping avoid duplicate imports.
