The Sync Intune App and Compliance Policy tool forces an update to the Intune policy on selected devices. This tool can be run on single and multi-selected devices from within Configuration Manager or Intune. This action can be run over a Console Extension, Recast Proxy, or Recast Agent route.
This feature does not currently work in Recast Builder.
Prerequisites
- Recast Management Server installed
- Microsoft Intune Management Extension installed
- Service connection from your Recast Management Server to Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
- Minimum Recast Software version: 5.10.2508.1302
- Minimum Right Click Tools for Intune browser extension version: 2.0.0.6

To run the tool:
1. Right-click on one or more devices.
2. Select Right Click Tools > Console Tools > Sync Intune App and Compliance Policy.
3. Confirm that you want to run the action, which will contact the target device(s) and trigger the policy synchronization request locally.
