We're making it easier to surface the information you need with new Right Click Tools Insights features in your Recast Management Server.
Recently delivered Right Click Tools Insights features:
See the Status of Windows Updates: Collect Windows Update inventory data to see which updates are currently installed, and which need to be deployed. You can also view histories of Windows and Windows Defender updates, as well as status information about the Windows Update Agent. Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.13.2610.
New Windows Update Inventory Classes:
- RI_WindowsUpdates - Shows installed update and updates needed by the Windows update agent
- RI_WindowsUpdateHistory - Shows a history of Windows Update installation attempts on the device
- RI_WindowsDefenderUpdateHistory - Similar to the Update History; Defender updates are listed separately and disabled by default
- RI_WindowsUpdateAgentStatus - Shows details about the status and health of the Windows Update Agent

Extend Inventory Data Collection with Custom Classes: Define and collect data from available WMI classes, then use custom inventory class data as you would Recast's default inventory classes. See View and Edit Collected Inventory Classes. Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.13.2610.
Build Power BI Reports from Insights Inventory Data: Connect Microsoft Power BI's reporting and analytics capabilities to Right Click Tools Insights using a supported OData API. Then create your own custom dashboards, reports, and data integrations without the need for custom scripting or direct database access. For details see, OData Discoverability for Power BI. Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.13.2610.
Additional Inventory Classes: Draw device information from an expanded set of hardware, software, and operating system inventory classes. For the full list of attributes collected for each class, see Inventory Class Data for Agent-Based Devices. Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.12.2609.

Choose the Inventory Information You Collect: See the Default inventory policy, with a complete list of classes and attributes, in your Recast Management Server/Recast Cloud. You can also enable or disable Insights inventory classes, adjusting the information collected to suit your needs. To know more, see View and Edit Collected Inventory Classes. See Primary User Information & Customize Your View of Warranty Data: On the Warranty Information > Devices tab, you can now view a computer's primary Intune user. Previously, you'd have to correlate the primary user from within Intune. You can also resize, add, and remove columns to customize your view. Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.12.2609.
User Inventory Data Cleanup: Our new inventory schedule automatically cleans up old user inventory data for the following EI classes: EI_UserARP, EI_UserDrive, EI_UserODBC, EI_UserPrinter. Previously, inventory class cleanup in Insights relied on an existing ConfigMgr inventory tool, which wasn't as thorough. Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.12.2608.
Rate Limiting for Device Inventory Requests: We've implemented rate limiting on the HTTP connections needed to request inventory information for Agent-based devices. Rate limiting concurrent connections helps ensure that the SQL server isn't overloaded when many Agents attempt to send inventory data at the same time. Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.12.2607.
See Additional Details on the Warranty Information Dashboard: We've added more data and new functionality on the Warranty Information dashboard: View the Device Age and Remaining Coverage, filter the Remaining Coverage according to whether it is active, expiring soon, or expired, and drill down into data from the Device by Status widget and the Warranty Expiration Timeline. Inventory Class Data for All Your Agent-Based Devices: In this initial iteration, you can view device inventory data from more than a dozen existing Insights inventory classes. For details, see View Inventory Class Data for Agent-Based Devices. Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.11.2512.
New Warranty Information Dashboard: A new Insights dashboard in your Recast Management Server visualizes your device warranty landscape. This version includes a warranty expiration timeline as well as charts that display your devices according to warranty status and manufacturer.
