Rebranding

Liquit Workspace is now Application Workspace. It has a new look and the display name of services was changed to reflect the new name.

Microsoft Teams Integration

You can easily implement Microsoft Teams integration to allow end users to access their apps and resources straight from Teams, improving processes and simplifying your delivery strategy. For more information, see Application Workspace for Microsoft Teams. The integration can be made manually or through a wizard.

Diagnostic report

A new feature called Diagnostic Report was added. End users can send a message to admins with the description of an issue they encounter, by using the new Submit diagnosis option that is available in the User Portal. Application Workspace automatically
attaches relevant diagnostic information to the report.
If you have an email configured, the system also sends you an email with the description and a link to a zip file containing: device, network, user, server information and Log files (Agent.ljson/Agent.log/UserHost.log).
For more information, see Diagnostic Reports and User Portal.

New Time zone filters

Group devices and users by their time zone to match their location and manage package updates efficiently, reducing high loads. For more information, see Package filters and Context filters.

Microsoft Graph API email server

Application Workspace makes now possible to authenticate to Microsoft 365 by using the Microsoft Graph API instead of SMTP basic authentication. For more information, see Configure the Microsoft Graph mail server.

Improved logging for connection via satellite

Whenever the Application Workspace Satellite Server encounters an error, the error message will show the origin of the error. Both the Application Workspace Server and the Application Workspace Satellite Server should be upgraded to Application Workspace 4.3.

Wait for a zone while in a deployment

If the connection to the zone is lost during a deployment, the Agent will wait for a set period of time until the zone becomes available again. For more information, see Agent Configuration and Agent Settings.

Display name length limit increased

The character number limit for a package's display name and shortcut name has been increased to accommodate more than 50 characters.

VMware Horizon connector renamed as Omnissa Horizon

The VMware Horizon-Connector was renamed Omnissa Horizon to reflect the official rebranding.

Extended support for other macOS app formats

The number of app formats supported by the Application Workspace Agent for macOS was extended ensuring efficient file management and compatibility with various archive types. The following versions are supported:

  • pkg
  • mpkg
  • dmg
  • zip
  • tar
  • tar.gz
  • tar.bz2
