Right Click Tools Enterprise customers and Community users can easily identify the applications in their environment that are available to update using Right Click Tools Patching. The App Compliance tab in your ConfigMgr console displays the applications in the RCT Patching catalog that are detected in your Add/Remove Programs inventory.
NOTES:
- Anonymized ConfigMgr hardware inventory data is sent to Recast and matched to the Right Click Tools Patching catalog.
- This feature requires outbound access to the Patching catalog at https://amprod02.recastsoftware.com.
- You do not require a Patching license to view and search the App Compliance tab.
- This feature is available in Recast Software Version 5.11.2512.1807 or later.
- Each column is sortable and all catalog information is searchable.
To locate the RCT Patching App Compliance tab in your ConfigMgr console:
1. Navigate to Assets and Compliance > Overview > Devices.
2. Right-click on a device and select Patching > Catalog Search.
The App Compliance tab displays the following application information:
- Vendor
- Application name
- RCT Patching Supported (Yes/No)
Click the About button for details about current and future functionality:
"The App/Device Compliance tools compare your ConfigMgr hardware inventory data to Recast's Right Click Tools Patching catalog. In our initial release, the resulting report shows which applications could be patched with Right Click Tools Patching. Future versions will display the vendor's current version, counts of devices, and CVE information. Inventory data is anonymized."
