Use the Set Autopilot Group Tags tool to add or edit tags for one or more devices that are detected in Windows Autopilot.
Prerequisites
- Recast Management Server installed with Recast Proxy
- Service connection from your Recast Management Server to Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
- Minimum Recast Software Version: 5.11.2512.1807
- Minimum browser extension version: 2.0.0.8, if accessing this functionality via Intune

To run the tool:
1. Right-click on one or more devices.
2. Select Right Click Tools > Console Tools > Add/Edit Group Tags in Autopilot.
3. Add group tags or edit existing tags.
4. Click Update and confirm your changes.
You'll see a Complete! success message in Right Click Tools and your group tags will appear in the list of Windows Autopilot devices in the Intune admin center.
