Application Workspace delivers a standard domain (virtual host) to its partners. Some partners use this default virtual hostname to identify and access the specific Application Workspaces or services. Most of the partners want to use their domain.
In this article, you'll learn how to create your virtual host name inside the domain section of Application Workspace.
To create your virtual host name inside the domain:
1. Navigate to Manage > System > Domains. This is where you will find the default virtual hostname.

2. Click Add.
3. In the Add domain window that opens, on the Details tab, enter a domain name, the virtual hostname, and a description. Click Confirm.

4. On the Certificate tab, upload your company certificate or enable Use ACME for automatic certificate renewal. Click Confirm.

The new domain will appear on the Domains page.

5. Create a CNAME (canonical name) DNS record from example.company.com to beta.liquit.cloud.
6. Test that you can resolve the newly added domain within your browser or terminal (cmd: NSLOOKUP <example.company.com>). It should resolve beta.recastsoftware.com.
- You must maintain a certificate (with ACME or a company certificate).
- You won't be able to create another
<example>.recastsoftware.clouddomain.
