Version 5.10.2508.1302 includes new features in Right Click Tools for Intune and introduces the Recast Device Warranty Plugin for Microsoft Security Copilot. This version also has some bug fixes for Recast Management Server, Right Click Tools, Privileged Access, and Patching.
Upgrade to this Recast Software release by downloading it from the Recast Portal. Instructions for installing this version can be found in our articles on updating Right Click Tools, Insights (previously Endpoint Insights), Privileged Access (previously Privilege Manager), and Patching (previously Application Manager).

New Entra ID- and Intune-Specific Tools
- Delete Devices from Azure: Along with the ability to remove devices from Intune (introduced last month), you can now remove devices from Entra using the same tool.
- Sync Intune App and Compliance Policy: You can now force an Intune policy synchronization.

Recast Device Warranty Plugin for Security Copilot
Use our new Device Warranty plugin in Microsoft Security Copilot to interact with your Recast Management Server and surface warranty information about devices. Recast Portal
User Experience Improvements
When you log into the Recast Portal, you'll notice some updates to the wording and row order. These changes are intended to add clarifying details and make the portal easier to use.
Users logging into the Recast Portal will see the following edits:
- On the login page, the Username label is now Username (Email Address)
- The note above the table now includes the former names for Privileged Access (Privilege Manager) and Patching (Application Manager)
- Right Click Tools Community has moved to the top of the table
- Right Click Tools Insights is now in proximity to Right Click Tools Enterprise
- The Right Click Tools Insights description now includes its former name, Endpoint Insights
- On the Email confirmed page, Log in to access licenses,... is now Log in to download Recast software, access licenses,...
NOTE: These changes went into effect on August 13th, 2025 as portal updates are not included in a software release.
Bug Fixes
Recast Management Server
Permissions: Users with the required admin permissions no longer see an 'Insufficient Recast Permissions' error. (Customer-Reported Bug 76147)
Service Connections: Attempting to view or edit a service connection in the Unconfirmed Service Connections window no longer results in an unresponsive Recast Management Server.
Right Click Tools
Console Extension: Customers who do not have the ConfigMgr console installed locally on the device will no longer see a 'Parameter "SiteServer" (string) must not be null or whitespace' error when running actions that use the two-grid view. (Customer-Reported Bug 73294)
Browser Extension: You can now select context menu items on the first click. (Customer-Reported Bug 76832)
Privileged Access (previously Privilege Manager)
Agents: Duplicate and non-existent users or groups no longer appear in the Groups view.
Patching (previously Application Manager)
Deployment Processes: The environment name remains visible after clicking the Save button in the Deployment Process Details side panel.
