Citrix StoreFront Connector

The Citrix StoreFront connector allows you to establish a connection to a Citrix StoreFront environment and import StoreFront applications and desktops as ready to use applications within Application Workspace for distribution.

Create a Citrix StoreFront Connector

To create a new Citrix StoreFront connector:

1. On the Connectors page, click the Create button.

2. As the Connector Type, select 'Citrix StoreFront'.

3. Accept the Terms and conditions.

4. Configure settings on the Overview and On-demand tabs. See Create a Connector for descriptions of options common to multiple connector types.

5. On the Settings tab, choose connector-specific options:

StoreFront settings

  • URL - Your Citrix StoreFront URL
  • Username - The username that should be used to connect to your StoreFront server.
  • Password - The password used in conjunction with the username to connect to Citrix StoreFront.

Package settings

  • Public URL - The URL used when someone connects through, for example the Citrix ADC. The same store should be specified as with the URL option.
Integration - The following options are available:
    • Default - simple integration, where the end user will be directed to the StoreFront website with a launch action embedded in the URL.
    • Enhanced - extended integration that require a special script on the StoreFront website which will hide the StoreFront portal when launching an application (with auto closing the tab/popup if possible). The enhanced version of the Citrix connector requires you to install the StoreFront integration script on the StoreFront server. For more information see Appendix 4 StoreFront integration script.
    • Enhanced (legacy) - this version is not supported anymore; new connectors cannot use the old enhanced integration.
  • Browser - The browser that should be used to navigate to the Citrix StoreFront package:
    • Default - the URL will be opened by the browser configured as default on devices.
    • Firefox
    • Chrome
    • Opera
    • Microsoft Edge
    • Safari
    • Application Workspace - the URL will be opened using the Application Workspace browser.
  • Shared authentication session - Whether or not the session is shared across browsers.
  • Install dependency - Add an install dependency to the managed packages.

6. Configure additional settings on the Entitlements and Releases tabs. See Create a Connector for descriptions of options common to multiple connector types.
