The Uninstall SCCM Client tool allows a console user to uninstall the ConfigMgr Client on a remote device.
How it does it
This tool completes this action via Remote WMI.
Navigation
Navigate to the Uninstall SCCM Client tool by right clicking on a Device Object, selecting Recast RCT, then Client Tools, and finally selecting Uninstall SCCM Client.
The Uninstall SCCM Client tool can be run on single devices or multi-selected devices. A similar tool can be run on Device Collections.

When the action is run, it returns an "Are you sure?" prompt:
Successful execution will return the following dialog box:
Successful execution of this tool results in the start of an uninstall process. The tool does not currently monitor the status or success of the uninstall once begun.
Permissions
The Uninstall SCCM Client tool requires the following permissions:
Recast Permissions
- Requires the Uninstall Client permission in the ConfigMgr Client Plugin.
Microsoft Permissions
- This tool requires administrator permission on the remote device.
- If using a Recast Server with service account, the service account needs administrator permission on the remote device.
- This tool uses remote WMI.

Common Errors
If the uninstall is unable to start (IE: the computer is not powered on), the following error will display:
