View & Manage Global Settings

Add an Environment

Recast Software Version 5.7.2410.1403 introduces the ability to add multiple environments in Application Manager. Both Configuration Manager and Intune environments are supported.

To add an environment:

1. On the Application Manager Settings page, click Add Environment.

2. On the Service Connections page that opens, click to add a service connection.

With the service connection added, the new environment will appear on the Settings page with the Configuration showing as ‘Not Ready’.

3. Hover over the information icon to view the required fields that must be completed.

4. To complete the configuration, click the Settings cog.

5. On the Environment Settings page that opens, complete the required fields and save your changes.

Back on the Settings page, the environment will show as 'Ready' and can be used for deployment processes.

Test an Integration

On the Application Manager Settings page, you can test whether a Configuration Manager or Intune integration is set up to function correctly.

The test checks the following:

  • Service connection is working properly
  • UNC path is accessible
  • Required proxy permissions are in place

To test an integration:

1. On the Settings page, under Actions, click the ellipsis (...) to open the drop-down menu.

2. Click Test Integration.

View Inherited Settings

You can view deployment processes that are inheriting a specific global setting.

To view inheritance for a setting:

1. On the Application Manager > Settings page, click the Settings cog to the right of the environment.

2. On the General, Deployment Processes or Deployments tab, click the View Inheritance icon beside a heading or an individual setting.

NOTE: You'll see a warning at the top of the tab if one or more settings has blocked inheritance.

3. In the Inheritance side panel that opens, view or search for the deployment processes that inherit the setting.

Delete an Integration

To delete an integration:

1. On the Settings page, under Actions, click the ellipsis (...) to open the drop-down menu.

2. Click Delete Integration.
