With the addition of the Right Click Tools into the ConfigMgr Community Hub, we’ve changed the flow of how your Right Click Tools desktop install is licensed. Here’s what to do if you are presented with the Licensing prompt workflow in Right Click Tools.
When running an action in Right Click Tools you will be presented with a dialog box that asks you to “Sign in to Recast Software” to continue.
There are four ways to continue from this window.
If you are a new user of the Right Click Tools and need to create an account, click on the "Register for Free" link. You will be presented with a page to enter your work information
Once you enter your information and click "Create Account" your Recast Portal account will be created and and email will be sent to verify your address.
Once you receive the email enter your registration information and email address in the Confirm Registration window.
When you are finished you will see the "Licensing Successful" page
If you are an Enterprise customer and desire to install the Right Click Tools in Enterprise Standalone mode, enter your Recast Portal username and password.
Your username and password will be verified and you will see the "Licensing Successful" page
If you have a Recast Management Server that you would like to connect to in your environment, click on the "Connect to Recast Management Server" hyperlink
Enter your Recast Management Server name and change the port if needed, then click "Test Connection". When your connection is successful, click "save" to save the information, your screen will show that the licensing is successful.
If you click on the "Click here for directions" link, it will show you steps to follow to complete the registration, and license download process.
Once you have browsed to a valid license file, you will see the screen showing that licensing is successful.
