Configuration Basics for Right Click Tools Enterprise

How you initially configure the Enterprise Edition of Right Click Tools depends on whether you've installed it with Recast Management Server or as a Standalone application.

Right Click Tools Enterprise with Recast Management Server

After installing Right Click Tools Enterprise with Recast Management Server, you'll need to configure some options in the Recast Management Server interface. This includes adding new AD users and/or user groups, as well as setting up a proxy route and scopes to populate with information.

Recommended Configuration Workflow

1. Assign roles to users.

2. Configure a Recast Proxy to manage tasks (in this case, to populate scopes), making sure basic permissions are in place.

3. Create and Populate Scopes.

You'll need to create two scopes: one for the Active Directory Domain, one for the ConfigMgr Site.

4. Add Active Directory Domains.

5. Add SMS Provider and Site Code.
