User Tools: Email User

The Email User tool looks for the primary email address associated with a user object (or multiple user objects) and then opens the default email application and adds the address to the "to" field so an email can be written and sent.

How it does it:

This tool completes this action by connecting to Active Directory to discover the primary email address associated with a user account, and then opening the default email application.

Navigation

Navigate to the Email User tool by right clicking on a User Object, selecting Recast RCT, and selecting Email User.

Enable/Disable Account Navigation

The Email User tool can be run on multi-selected User Objects, but not User Groups or User Collections. Multi-selecting User Objects will return a single dialog box, noting the number of user objects being acted upon.
